RIYADH: The Kingdom’s aid organization KSrelief has distributed food parcels to more than 20,000 people in Gaza, Sudan, Benin and Mauritania as part of its Ramadan outreach.
In Sudan, 1,400 food parcels were delivered to displaced families in White Nile State, benefiting 13,970 individuals, Saudi Press Agency reported.
This is the second phase of KSrelief’s food aid for communities in the war-torn country.
Meanwhile, KSrelief continues to send aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip in coordination with the Palestinian Red Crescent. About 3,500 displaced people in Rafah benefited from the latest delivery of 500 food packages during Ramadan.
In Mauritania, KSrelief distributed 1,012 parcels benefiting 6,072 individuals in line with its Ramadan project to hand out 7,772 food packs for up to 48,000 disadvantaged people.
The Saudi relief agency also distributed 400 Ramadan food packages for 2,400 vulnerable people in Benin.
