Chairman PTI and Ex prime minister of Pakistan was arrested on August 5th 2023 by Pakistan rangers in fals cases and illegally from Islamabad high court. PTI Pakistan and PTI overseas decided to have protest for release of Imran Khan and other prisoners all over the world. PTI USA Deupty OIc Mr. Johni Bashir has zoom meeting with this regard on July 15 th . All the PTI USA chapters chief Coordinators were invited with their teams. It was decided to have a protest in Washington DC on August 4th on one year arrest of imran khan and other prisoners. Ex – Deputy speaker Qasim Suri Sijad Burki and Mr. Atif Khan ask chapters coordinators to participate with their teams . For Chicago Raja M. Yaqub chief was given task to participate with other PTI members and supporters. On August 3rd. a delegation of 11 members left for Washington DC from Chicago. On August 4th 3pm to 6pm a PTI member protest program was held at freedom plaza . Delegates from N.Y Newjersy Baltimore and Huston were present in the program . Hundreds of protesters chanted for release of imran khan and other prisoners release . Also stolen mandate issue in Pakistan and real democracy was addressed by Raja M. Yaqub and other speakers. Qasim suri addressed the desolve of Pakistan National Assembly in 2022 and general Bajwa involvement in politics. Delegates from Chicago were Raja M. Yaqub ,Ali Bakhtiari, Mian Saqlain,Sohail Mirza ,Saleem Mirza, Javed Mirza,Mumtaz Karim ,Mr. Gulzar Ahmad ,Kazim Raja,Aynait Gull khan and Zahid Kamal . This program was started with the recitation of Quran and with Dua.
